Estrategia y Relaciones Públicas: un estudio bibliométrico comparativo

Resumen

Este artículo presenta un estudio bibliométrico de las revistas de relaciones públicas catalogadas en las bases de datos Social Sciences Citation Index–Communication–Journal List y de las de estrategia del Social Sciences Citation Index–Management–Journal List, ambas propiedades de Thomson Reuters hasta octubre de 2016. Mediante análisis de contenidos se identifican los artículos que tratan la estrategia en las revistas especializadas en relaciones públicas y al revés: las especializadas en estrategia que contemplan las relaciones públicas en sus contenidos. Las variables de análisis fueron los periodos temporales en que se habían publicado mayor número de artículos; cuestiones de género sobre los autores de los artículos analizados; número prevalente de autores por artículo; y los títulos de los artículos. Los resultados revelan que la estrategia aparece ampliamente tratada en las revistas de relaciones públicas, mientras que las relaciones públicas tienen presencia casi nula en las revistas de gestiónespecializadas en estrategia.

Marc Compte-Pujol, Universidad Central de Cataluña

Doctor en Comunicación y master universitario en Estrategia y Creatividad Publicitarias por la Universidad Ramón Llull (URL) de Barcelona (España); licenciado en Comunicación Audiovisual por la Universidad Pompeu Fabra (UPF) y master en Dirección Cinematográfica por ESCAC (Universidad de Barcelona-UB).

Imparte docencia sobre Comunicación Audiovisual, Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas en la Facultad de Empresa y Comunicación de la Universidad de Vic-Universidad Central de Catalunya (UVIC-UCC) y es miembro del grupo interuniversitario de investigación “Laboratorio de Medios Interactivos” (LMI), consolidado y reconocido por la Generalitat de Catalunya.

Ha publicado diversos artículos en revistas académicas nacionales e internacionales. Sus principales líneas de investigación se centran en las estrategias de comunicación, el place branding, la función del dircom y la enseñanza universitaria de grado y postgrado sobre relaciones públicas.

Kathy Matilla , Universidad Ramón Llull

Doctora en Comunicación y master en Comunicación Social por la Universidad Ramón Llull (URL) de Barcelona; diplomada en Relaciones Públicas y licenciada en Historia del Arte por la Universidad de Barcelona (UB); y master en Marketing por ESADE Business School (URL).

Imparte docencia sobre estrategias de comunicación en el grado de Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas de la Facultad de Comunicación Blanquerna de la Universidad Ramón Llull (URL), donde también es miembro del grupo de investigación consolidado “Digilab: Media, Strategy and Regulation”.

Fue vicedecana de Relaciones Públicas del Colegio de Publicitarios y Relaciones Públicas de Cataluña durante dos legislaturas y presidenta internacional de FISEC-Foro Iberoamericano sobre Estrategias de Comunicación. Actualmente es vocal de la Junta Directiva de AIRP-Asociación de Investigadores en Relaciones Públicas y de la Junta Directiva de Dircom Catalunya.

Sus principales líneas de investigación se centran en la comunicación estratégica, las estrategias de comunicación, la función del dircom y la enseñanza universitaria de grado y postgrado sobre relaciones públicas.

Salvador Hernández, Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia

Doctor en Protocolo y Relaciones Públicas por la Universidad de Sevilla (US).

Director de la Escuela Superior de Protocolo y Relaciones Institucionales y Director del Master Oficial en Protocolo y Consultoría de Imagen (desde octubre de 2005) de la Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia. Es profesor de la Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la Comunicación de la Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia y de postgrados y cursos en universidades españolas y europeas: Pontificia de Salamanca, Sevilla, Málaga, Siena, Wroclaw, Eichstätt.

Miembro de la Junta Directiva y Tesorero de la Asociación de Investigadores en Relaciones Públicas; Vicepresidente de la Asociación de Relaciones Públicas y Protocolo de Andalucía; Secretario General de la Organización Internacional de Protocolo (2011-13); y miembro de la Junta Directiva de la Asociación Española de Investigadores en Protocolo Universitario (2004-07).

Sus principales líneas de investigación se centran en el protocolo y en la enseñanza universitaria de grado y postgrado sobre relaciones públicas.
