Who is the librarian? What is their training? And, what are their distinctive roles in the labour market?

In the search to make known the professional who works directly with the document, the information and its various functions in the market. An informal text is presented, mentioning from general aspects of training, to the roles that this professional can assume, in order to reverse the lack of knowledge about it, emphasising, finally, what is expected of this professional.
