Abstract

With the beginning of a new century, media such as radio are faced with the dilemma of maintaining the traditional process of analog production and broadcasting of programming or evolving towards digital channels. Everything seems to indicate that the zeros and the ones will end up being inserted in the radio world according to what is happening in other media such as television. The future that arises from this budget is therefore exciting if we take into account the advantages of the digital complex and the opportunity to introduce new content and a greater service to the listener.

Radio stations, at least, those with a wide circulation are beginning to make that leap towards modernity and are beginning, although at a slow pace for the moment, to sacrifice analog methods for digital instruments. We could say that this digitization process takes shape in two ways. On the one hand we find the digitization in the emission and reception and on the other hand the binary transition in the process of radio production or production. In this article we will focus on this last point that for the journalist or the communicator can be as interesting as the first for the listener.
