Personal Data Protection in Compliance with the LOPDGDD

The Revista Latina de Comunicación Social (RLCS) complies with current regulations on personal data protection, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 and Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

  • Explicit user consent when providing their data for editorial management.
  • Compliance with editorial obligations, necessary for the evaluation and publication of articles in the journal.
  • Compliance with legal obligations, when required.

Data will not be shared with third parties outside RLCS, except when legally required or necessary for editorial management (e.g., indexing in academic databases).

5. User Rights

Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, deletion, limitation, opposition and portability by sending an official request to editor@revistalatinacs.org duly drafted providing the reasons for the request.

6. Data Retention

Data will be retained as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and in accordance with legally established time limits.

RLCS adopts technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data, preventing unauthorized access or alteration.
