Open Access Policy

Open Access Policy

RLCS provides immediate free access to its content under the principle of making research freely available to the public, promoting a greater global exchange of knowledge.

All articles published in RLCS are protected under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license, which implies that:

  • Authors retain their intellectual property rights, granting RLCS the right of first publication.
  • Copying, distribution, and public communication of the articles are permitted, provided that the original source is properly cited.
  • Commercial use of the content is not allowed.
  • Modification, transformation, or the creation of derivative works from the published articles is not permitted.
  • Authors may deposit the final accepted version of their articles in institutional or thematic open-access repositories, in compliance with the deadlines and terms established by the research funding entity.
  • For any other use not covered by this license, explicit permission from the authors is required.

Additionally, RLCS adheres to the Berlin Declaration on Open Access, reaffirming its commitment to the free dissemination of scientific knowledge.

Interoperability Protocol

To enhance the visibility and accessibility of its content, RLCS implements interoperability protocols that allow the collection and distribution of its publications through open-access repositories and aggregators, such as OAI-PMH.
