Abstract

Introduction. The paper articulates an epistemological proposal that problematizes the narrative for alterity, through nonviolent and dialogical communication. Method. The methodology for the article is hermeneutical analysis (Thompson, 2011). As the corpus of analysis are analyzed the three minidocumentaries of the company Vivo in Brazil: #Rethink2018: Razan Suliman - Refugees are welcome; #Rethink2018: Giovanna - My body, my rules; and #Rethink2018: Ian - Special talent. Results. The investigation of the research is based on the denaturalization of violence, on the criticism of stereotyped narratives and on the search for the broader performance of complex themes, such as the formation of contemporary subjects. Conclusion. The assertion is made in retrieving the stories by autobiographies, concomitantly with the expectation generated to anchor the narrative meaning in a dialogue with the interlocutor, establishing the epistemological importance of the language and its prospections.

Professor at the Universidade Federal do Sul e Sudeste do Pará. She coordinates the research projects: Beyond criticism. Study on contemporary communications in the interface with the new requirements of alterity for complex societies; Observatory I: Mapping of the media of Rondon do Pará and Marabá.
