Abstract

The music is one of the most expressive elements of the wireless language and there do not exist reasons for which it should do without it in the informative speech. Nevertheless, the editors of the principal programs of national news do not use it, reducing thus attraction to the newscasts. A formal analysis of the informative ones of midday of more hearing of the country, in which the second ones dedicated to the music are assessed diegética and extradiegética, reveals that the editors construct their speech almost exclusively with words. The scanty harmonization of elements that present the newscasts reduces its communicative possibilities. In this article we try to promote the use of the music in the informative ones, an element that, combined with the words, helps to understand better the dense contents than they offer in this type of programs, it catches the attention of the hearing and, in the second level, wakes his interest up for the information.
