Abstract

There are various investigations aimed at investigating the role of the media in electoral processes. Some have evaluated the level of influence that those exert in the decision of the voters in front of the polls; still others have chosen to study the behavior of the media in this context; But few have taken care to combine in a single study both the formal analysis of the treatment that the media gives to the actors who participate in an electoral contest, as well as the possible impact that this phenomenon has on the political behavior of the audience.
