Abstract

Tens of thousands of pages have been written about the 1968 student events in Mexico in books, magazines, and newspapers. Perhaps only the length of the published texts about the Mexican Revolution can surpass it. Despite the fact that the 1968 movement was located in Mexico City, and weakly in two or three other cities, due to the transcendence of its socio-political consequences, it has been said that it represented a "watershed" in the recent history of our country.
