Forms of expression in journalism today

Journalistic language is made up of a set of discourses which have different logical and grammatical structures; it is not a homogeneous type of discourse in its structure. However, all these specific forms of discourse imply the journalist's knowledge that the recipients are specific people living in a specific time with their adjacent social, political, cultural, etc. circumstances.
The distinction of discourse forms will allow us to establish a system of analysis that will help us to better understand the general purpose of the messages and to determine the most appropriate way of writing them.
