Author Biography

Leticia Porto Pedrosa, Rey Juan Carlos University

D. in Communication Sciences and Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid, she is a professor in the Department of Education Sciences at the Rey Juan Carlos University, where she coordinates the Early Childhood Education Degree since 2019. She has taught in several master's degrees, such as Teacher Training, Advanced Teaching Skills and Educational Center Management. In addition, she has collaborated at UNED and other universities, directing work and teaching in areas such as communication and educational management. In the professional field, she worked 15 years in communication for International Cooperation and is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Association for Research in Sociology of Organizations and Communication (AISOC). She is also vice-president of Kids&Com and secretary of the scientific journal Derecom. Her research interests include childhood socialization through media, emotional development in early childhood education, media literacy, youth social participation and educational social responsibility.
