The book "Diálogos posdigitales" by Carmen Marta-Lazo and José Antonio Gabelas-Barroso, published by Gedisa, is a work that covers more than a decade of research and study in the field of education and communication in relation to technology. Based on the Relationship, Information and Communication Technologies (IRCT) model, the authors propose a holistic and positive vision that goes beyond the instrumental and behaviorist perspective of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

The book explores the concept of the R-relational Factor as the key element that connects the uses, consumptions and interactions in the networks, both at a psychosocial and synaptic level, considering the three dimensions of the human being: cognitive, emotional and social. This approach addresses both the skills to establish social links that support identity, sexuality and intimacy (R for competence), and the risks associated with inappropriate use, abuse or possible dependencies (R for risk). Through this perspective, the book proposes the transformation of ICTs in TRIC, from an educommunicative model.

The prologue of the book, written by Nacho Guadix from UNICEF Spain, highlights the relevance of the Relational Factor in the current digital environment and its connection with children's rights. Reference is made to the impact of technology on people's lives, from early childhood to adulthood, and the need to understand and actively participate in this context is emphasized. As we progress through the reading, we are immersed in an impressionistic journey through chapters that explore biological analogies, social emotions, new consumption and reading, and the importance of life skills and healthy content in the digital environment.

"Post-digital Dialogues" challenges the reader to rethink the relationship between technology and humanity, offering a deep and stimulating reflection on the interaction between mind and machines. It is a book that invites us to explore and understand the transformative role of ICTs in our society today, as well as to empower the human factor and strengthen our relationships in the post-digital world.
